Cisco
Eerie abandoned relics in Cisco, Utah, a typical western ghost town often found dotting barren landscapes. These towns conjure up many questions and spark infinite curiosity. It's living history. Cisco was founded in the 1880s to serve as a stopover and water-refilling station for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. Eventually, the town was abandoned after nearby Interstate I-70 was built to pass through just a few miles away. Next time you are on your way to Moab or near the Colorado/Utah border...check this place out it. It is equally haunting and intriguing. I tried to capture a bit of the stark feeling with this photo and the fading light.
