The splendid walls within Fern Canyon in Northern California. One of the more serene places I've ever been fortunate to visit.
Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls Idaho during Spring flow is a dramatic sight. As a photographer trying to paint with the light and the textures in the cascading water can be a beautiful challenge. Rather than capturing the falls in it's entirety I focused in on the details in the rock and falling water to create a fluid yet powerful feeling.
This terse sign in New Orleans speaks volumes in today's political climate.
