An alligator lurks in Sam Houston State Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Funny, on our last trip through the bayou I had informed my parents it was a wonderful trip and learned a ton but didn't see any alligators. We stopped at the last park before the state line and low and behold, I came across one.
