Our arrieros (horsemen) retrieve our horses and burros on a snowy morning in Cuyoc. Often, when we get to camp, the animals are set loose to graze for the day. They tend to wander pretty far and it's quite a bit of work finding them all in the morning to bring back to camp and load up all the gear.
Lento y Seguoro, a common phrase while hiking in the Andes. "Slowly but surely." Our group heads up in the early morning towards Paso Santa Rosa
