Sloan's Lake Sunset
Incredible sunset 10-24-2017. I went to Sloan's about an hour before sunrise and walked around scoping out spots. It looked like the sunset might not be as colorful as previous days...but I waited patiently to enjoy it regardless. Fortunately, as the sun set behind the Rockies, nature again decided to open up a can of color. All of the joggers, dog walkers, bike riders all came to a halt...pulled out their cell phones and snapped away. I appreciated everyone taking in the beauty, but I did take a bit of delight in the fact that I had waited patiently for an hour for this and was all setup with my camera in a little nook I found just for me. It made it just a bit more special.
